2023 Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
"Lots of spicy red and black fruits, leafy herbs, camphor, graphite, and underbrush nuances all shine in the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Mountain District. Deep ruby/plum-hued, it's medium to full-bodied, concentrated, structured, and remarkably layered. This is another drop-dead gorgeous release from this team in 2023 that does everything right..."

2023 Kathryn Hall Cabernet Sauvignon
"Dense and winey, this takes the extracted approach to deliver a muscular wave of black currant, blackberry and boysenberry paste flavors, all melded with dark licorice and tar through the well-structured finish. Alder and loam underscore the finish. This sits squarely and self-assuredly in the not-shy style."

2023 Bergfeld Cabernet Sauvignon
"Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Bergfeld bursts with bold notes of crème de cassis, blueberry pie, and ripe, juicy plums, plus hints of violets, dark chocolate, and mint tea. Full-bodied, the palate is plump and juicy while maintaining wonderful brightness, featuring plush tannins and a racy line, finishing with a minty lift. This comes from Block 10 of the vineyard around the original winery, which is farmed organically."

2023 Exzellenz Cabernet Sauvignon
"...This saturated purple-hued beauty offers a deep, relatively restrained, yet beautifully layered nose of smoky black fruits, graphite, scorched earth, lead pencil, and that classic Rutherford chocolaty nuance. It's full-bodied on the palate, with a deep, layered mid-palate, velvety, building tannins, and flawless overall balance. This magical, seamless, heavenly beauty flirts with perfection and needs a solid decant if drinking any time soon. It will benefit from 4-5 years of bottle age and should evolve beautifully for four decades or more. Drink 2029-2075."

2023 Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon
"The 2023 Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of blackberries and ripe cherry, laced with notes of graphite, crushed stones, violets, and faint hints of wild herbs. On the palate, it shows both depth and composure, delivering a full-bodied impression supported by fine, integrated tannins. Waves of dark and red fruit are joined by subtle mineral accents and a touch of spice, resulting in a balanced profile. The finish is long and precise, marked by a sense of freshness that highlights its structure and aging potential. While already showing beautifully, it is poised to gain additional nuance and complexity with time in bottle."

2023 Stags Leap Cabernet Sauvignon
"Blended from three sites (Schweizer, Clos du Val and Taylor), Hall's 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Stags Leap District bursts with cherries and raspberries up front, then adds more savory notes of dusty earth, cloves and coffee grounds. It's full-bodied but fairly supple, with a velvety mouthfeel and a long, gently tannic finish."
